In a heartfelt message to the Muslim community in Ibadan North West/South West Federal Constituency, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large, Hon. Dhikrullahi Olajide Adedeji Stanley Odidiomo, lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on ICT and Cybersecurity in the Federal House of Representatives, has expressed his sincere wishes for a joyous Eid- el-Fitr celebration filled with blessings and happiness.
Reflecting on the teachings of Islam, Hon. Dhikrullahi quoted Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), ‘The best among you are those who have the best manners and character.’
He encouraged residents to embody these virtues of kindness, compassion, and tolerance as they come together in unity to celebrate Eid.
Odidiomo further remarked, ‘May this Eid be a time of spiritual renewal and a reminder of the importance of serving our community with love and compassion.’
As families gather to share meals and exchange gifts, let us also remember those less fortunate in our community and extend a helping hand to them.
Eid is a time for reflection, gratitude, and forgiveness. Let us use this opportunity to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood in Nigeria and strive for a more peaceful and harmonious society.
