The Executive Chairman of Egbeda local government who doubles as the Chairman of Local Government Chairmen in Oyo State, Hon Sanda Sikiru Oyedele Felicitates muslim Ummah in Egbeda local government, Oyo State and the nation at large on successful completion of this year Ramadan as they joined other muslim counterparts worldwide in celebrating Eid-El-Fitr.
In his Sallah statement ” I urged Muslims to uphold the lessons of Ramadan by continuing in act of charity, peaceful coexistence and adhere to the teachings of the Holy Qur’an, emphasized the importance of prayers for peace in Egbeda local government, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole”.
Stressed that,”Ramadan may be over but our prayers for Oyo State and the nation must be sustained as well as our support for present administration led by His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE”.
” I also wish to enjoin all Muslim Ummah to celebrate with caution by being moderate in celebrating of Eid-El-Fitr and continue to extend love to one another, especially the less privileged in our society” he said.
