The People’s Democratic Party candidate for Ibarapa Central Local Government in the forthcoming Local Government election in Oyo State, Hon. Sola Adeleke (Solar) has felicitated with Muslim Ummah across Ibarapa region and Oyo State on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
Solar’s message was contained in a statement signed by his media team and made available to newsmen on Wednesday, urged Muslims especially those in Ibarapa Central and Oyo State to use this holy period to pray for the continuous peace, prosperity and progress of Ibarapa central and Oyo State, Nigeria.
The statement reads:
‘It is imperative that all Muslims put into practice the significance of the holy month of Ramadan by showing compassion.
“To my Muslim brothers and sisters, the holy month of Ramadan advocates for good mannerism, humility and generosity.
“As Muslims, you are encouraged to treat others well with love and kindness, to give charity to the poor, to be empathetic, and above all be humble and grateful for your good fortune.
“While felicitating with my Muslim brothers and sisters across Nigeria, I urge them to pray for the continuous peace, prosperity and progress of our dear country and most importantly, they should put into practice the significance of the holy month of Ramadan.” Hon Olusola Adeleke concluded.
