Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has congratulated Muslim faithful on the completion of this year’s Ramadan.
Congratulating the people of the religious faith on Sunday, March 30, 2025, Hon. Adepoju described Ramadan as one of the greatest and most beautiful months in the Muslim calendar, urging Muslim faithful to continue to do those things they did during the sacred month even after the holy month of Ramadan.
The lawmaker acknowledged pressing national issues, including the country’s economic situation, beseeching Muslims to use the period of this year’s Eid to pray for Nigeria and their leaders so that they may lead with the fear and wisdom of God.
Hon. Adepoju also seized the moment to thank those who graced his annual Ramadan Lecture during the just concluded Ramadan, recognising the impact of seeking divine intervention in the conduct and affairs of any nation and its citizens.
The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character, however, enjoined constituents in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North to be law-abiding during and after Eid al-Fitr.
