A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Otunba Olusina John Ogunsola has congratulated the Muslim community in Oluyole Federal Constituency and Oyo State in general on the celebration of 2024 Eid-el-Fitr.
Otunba Ogunsola, a Philanthropist urged all Muslims to imbibe the lessons learnt from the just concluded Ramadan season.
“Ramadan brings holy month to all of us on earth through the Muslim faithfuls. The teachings and the lessons of Ramadan instill discipline and prepare us for the Holy Place which we all crave for.
“The Ramadan period preaches unity among all of us.
“We share things in common like prayer, the sahur, the teachings and preachings of Islam, love for one another, sharing of what we have in our possessions, peace, it reduces us to the same status before our creator.
“It unites all of us, it humbles us all, it gives perseverance, it tolerates, and above all, it is a period when love of one another prevails.
“I wish we all to imbibe these teachings, which only can give peaceful country. The period of Ramadan is holy and love.
