The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke Ayodele has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Ibarapa Central and beyond on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, urging them to embrace the enduring values of sacrifice, obedience, compassion and peaceful coexistence symbolized by the sacred celebration.

In a goodwill message, Hon. Adeleke described Eid-el-Kabir as a significant period of spiritual reflection and devotion, reminding Muslims of the virtues demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim through his steadfast faith, obedience to God and willingness to make sacrifices in the service of humanity.

The Chairman emphasized that the festival goes beyond celebration, serving as a reminder of the importance of selflessness, tolerance, generosity, and commitment to the collective well-being of society.

“Eid-el-Kabir teaches us the true essence of sacrifice, humility and faith in Almighty Allah. It is a season that encourages us to extend kindness to one another, support the vulnerable and strengthen the bonds of unity within our communities,” Hon. Adeleke stated.

He urged Muslim faithful to use the occasion to pray for the continued peace, progress, and development of Ibarapa Central, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole, stressing the importance of unity and collective responsibility in nation-building.

Hon. Adeleke further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering people-centered governance and improving the welfare of residents through impactful initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable development across Ibarapa Central.

The Chairman also appreciated the Muslim community for their contributions to peaceful coexistence and community development, noting that religious harmony remains essential for the growth and stability of society.

As families and loved ones gather to celebrate the sacred occasion, Hon. Adeleke prayed that Almighty Allah accepts their acts of worship and sacrifice, blesses their homes with peace and prosperity and grants the nation greater unity and progress.

He concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous, peaceful and spiritually fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir celebration, encouraging them to uphold the values of love, sacrifice and compassion beyond the festive season.
