

As Muslims around the world commemorate the spiritually significant festival of Eid-el-Kabir, the Chairman of Oyo East Local Government , Hon Oluokun Peter Olusola, has extended warm and heartfelt greetings to the global Muslim Ummah—particularly to the devout faithful in Oyo East Local Government, Oyo State and across Nigeria.


The chairman urged all citizens to embrace the values of sacrifice, peace, peaceful coexistence and brotherhood that define the festival.


In a statement issued on Friday 6th May, 2025
by his Media assistant, Adeleke Afees Adeniran emphasized the peaceful coexistence and national identity “I extend my sincere felicitations to all our Muslim brothers and sisters on this spiritually uplifting occasion of Eid-el-Kabir. It is a moment to reflect on the power of faith, unity, peaceful coexistence and selflessness. As a nation, we must stand together, regardless of religion or background, to build a stronger and more inclusive Nigeria


Hon Oluokun reiterated his administration’s commitment to focus on the project that will make life of the residents of Oyo East Local Government better “our administration will continue to always focus on the project that will make the life of our people more better especially on primary health, security of lives and properties and social infrastructure that will change the life positively”.


The chairman prayed to Allah to accept the supplications and sacrifices of the faithful and grants everyone a joyous and peaceful celebration.
