On behalf of the good people of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, I, Hon. Engr. Toheeb Adegoke (ADLAT) a proud son of the soil and a Federal Constituency hopeful warmly welcome His Excellency, Governor Seyi Abiodun Makinde, the People’s Governor, to Akinyele for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Special Agro-Processing Zone (SAPZ) and the International Agricultural Produce Wholesale Market, holding today, Saturday.
This transformative initiative marks a new era of economic empowerment and food security not just for Akinyele, but for Oyo State as a whole. We are particularly grateful that our dear Akinyele is being positioned as a strategic food bank Local Government in the state affirming our potential, our strength, and our future in agricultural development.

We also specially recognize and salute the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, the Chief Host of today’s event. Chairman Sir, your tenure has been nothing short of transformational. Under your leadership, Akinyele has witnessed rapid infrastructural growth, strategic partnerships, and progressive initiatives this SAPZ project being a prime example. Your impact is deeply felt, and your service is truly commendable.
