    Ex ANA Chieftain, Dr Oyebade Oyedepo Recommends ICAN Ibadan Chartac Journal for Capacity Building

    A former Vice Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Oyo State Chapter who is also a prolific writer, author, public speaker and foremost Accountant, Dr Prince Oyebade Oyedepo has recommended the Chartac Journal of Ibadan & District Society of ICAN for the reading members of the public to build capacity and enhance knowledge.

    Dr Oyebade made this recommendation during the launch of volume 14, number 1 of the Chartac journal held last Monday, 5th January, 2026 at the Gbaremu office of the district under the Chairmanship of Mrs Funmi Omisore, FCA.

    The prolific writer when reviewing the 70 page journal before the launch remarked that the journal met all the criteria of any book of intellectual property.


    According to him, the quality of the print is topnotch, the contents are classy and the authors of the articles therein are scholars and professionals of immeasurable standard.

    The journal is comprised of 8 well researched articles, 1 interview and the 7Cs vision for transformational administrative year by Mrs Funmilayo Omisore, FCA.

    Dr Oyebade Oyedepo remarked that all the articles were properly referenced to pass the test of plagiarism.

    Some of the writers of the articles are; Dr Prince Oyebade Oyedepo, FCA, Professor Olusola Samuel Faboyede, FCA, Dr Temitope Babajide, FCA, Dr Sileola Adebusola Akinbowale, FCA amongst others. Interview was also granted by Dr Kehinde Odunsi, FCA titled, assessing the relevance, implementation, and developmental impact of Nigeria’s emerging tax reforms.

    The book launch was witnessed by leaders in the accounting profession including Mr A A. Elujoba, FCA (Past Chairman of the District), Deacon Solomon Adeleke, FCA (Former Council Member/Past Chairman of the District), Dr Prince Oyebade Oyedepo, FCA (Former Council Member/Past Zonal Chairman/Past Chairman of the District), Alhaji Lukman Dauda, FCA (Past Chairman of the District), Deacon Samson Ayansina, FCA (Past Chairman of the District), Alhaji Ademola Ogunsesan, FCA (Past Chairman of the District), Mr Biodun Adedeji, FCA (Council Member/Past Chairman of the District), Dr Temitope Babajide, FCA (Past Chairman of the District), Alhaji Babatunde Kilani, FCA (Past Chairman of the District) and Chief (Mrs) Omokemi Oladipo, FCA (Pioneer Chairman of Lagelu & District Society of ICAN). The event was also graced by the executives and other members of the district from all walks of life.

    The Chartac journal is a publication of Ibadan & District Society of ICAN since 2002 to date.
