There are clear indications that Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has approved names of prominent chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party to be appointed as chairmen of two agencies and corporation.
Goalpoacher News reporter, gathered that Makinde would announce the appointments of some aides to fill the agencies that are yet to be occupied.
Oyo State Housing Corporation, Oyo State Rural Water and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA) and Oyo Waste Management Authority (OYORMA).
The present Deputy Governor was the Executive Chairman of Oyo Housing Corporation from 2020 before his appointment as running mate and was elected as Deputy Governor in 2023.
Najimdeen Omirinde was the chairman of Oyo State Rural Water and Sanitation Agency in Omituntun 1.0.
While Barrister Seun Adelore, the Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party in Ibadan North Local Government.
In his first term, Governor Seyi Makinde didn’t appoint anyone as the chairman of Oyo State Youth Agency.
The names of those penciled down for these positions would be announced anytime soon.
