Experts set to unravel economic implications of Gini Index in Nigeria @ 5th annual coloqium to mark 62nd birthday of MFP President, Dr Prince Oyebade Oyedepo, FCA, JP
The stage is getting set for the 5th annual coloqium to mark the 62nd birthday of MFP President, Dr Prince Oyebade Oyedepo, FCA, JP on Monday, 18th May, 2026 virtually.
According to the information released to the Press by the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Mr Abiodun Adedeji, FCA, the topic of discourse at this year’s annual coloqium is, Assessing Dynamics of Gini Index in Nigeria and Implications for Economic Development to be delivered by Dr Temitope Babajide, FCA. The Guest Speaker is a Deputy Director (Finance and Accounts) at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. She is also the Editor in Chief of The Magnet Journal.
The Chairman of Session is Professor Olayinka Adenikinju, Provost of the College of Management and Social Sciences, Bowen University, Iwo.
The former President of Customary Court of Appeal, Oyo State and Chairman of Oyo State Anti-Corruption Agency, Hon Justice Eni Esan (Rtd) is expected as the Special Guest of Honour. The Rapporteur General is Dr Chioma Ojukwu, FCA, a Lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The Chief host is the Chairman of Ibadan & District Society of ICAN, Mrs Olufunmilayo Omisore, FCA while Miss Precious Elizabeth Oyedepo and Mr David Adetomiwa Oyedepo serves as the hosts. The event is to be anchored by Mrs Tolulope Olatoyan, FCA.
This year’s colloquium is the 5th edition in the series marking annual birthdays of Dr Prince Oyebade Oyedepo, FCA, JP.

It is expected that a communique will be released at the event suggesting how to improve the economic situation of Nigeria through the Gini Index.
Dr Prince Oyebade Oyedepo is a Chartered Accountant, Writer, Author and Public Affairs Analyst. He is a Justice of the Peace of Oyo State. He is a Past Chairman of Ibadan & District Society of ICAN & CITN, Past Western Zonal Chairman of ICAN and Former Member of ICAN National Governing Council. He has served the public severally including being a Member of Oyo State Anti-Corruption Agency (OYACA). He is a Former Vice Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Authors, Oyo State Chapter. He is the President of MFP Group Nigeria and MFP Global Services; a group of multiethnic and multidisciplinary finance professionals.
