The lawmaker representing Akinyele Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ayotunde Fatokun has commended Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency (OYSROMA) for the agency’s timely intervention to fix Ojoo to Igbooloyin road which has suffered dilapidation in recent times and could be blamed on carefree attitude of successive governments.
Fatokun said “this road has caused lot of hardship to commuters especially traders, this road has gone so bad that it is now death traps to commuters, drivers and other road users.”
“The road is dotted with countless potholes that sometimes cause accidents as drivers struggle to meander through.”
Recall Fatokun sometimes in May this year, made a passionate appeal to OYSROMA to fix the road. He expressed happiness that the agency has started mobilising it work force to the road.
