Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, on Tuesday arrived in Ibadan at about 4:50 p.m., at a time of heightened tension surrounding the ongoing dispute involving the traditional institution and the Oyo State Government.
Reports have it that the former governor’s visit comes amid growing political and traditional concerns over developments linked to the Olubadan stool, which has continued to attract close attention from key stakeholders across the state.
Upon arrival, Fayose was reportedly received at the residence of Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, where he went into a closed-door meeting with the monarch.
The discussions are believed to be centered on efforts to calm rising tensions and explore peaceful avenues toward resolving the crisis.
