First Lady Honors New Year Babies with Gifts and cash Support in Ibarapa Central

In a heartfelt celebration of new beginnings, the First Lady of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Mrs. Adeleke Olusola Adebimpe marked the arrival of 2025 by visiting two hospitals to welcome the first babies of the year.

Her first stop was at the Maternity Hospital in Pako/Igbole, Igboora, where she met with the family of the first newborn of the year. During her visit, she presented the family with thoughtful gifts and cash support offering words of encouragement to the mother, Mrs. Jimoh Sikirat who expressed her gratitude, saying, “This act of kindness has brought so much joy to my family. We are deeply thankful to the First Lady for her support.”

The First Lady also visited Mark Mercy Hospital in Igbole Area, extending the same gesture to another newborn and their family. Addressing the mother, Mrs. Adedokun Rukayat, Hon. Mrs. Adeleke said, “This is a special moment and we are here to celebrate with you. Your child is a blessing to this community and we want you to know that you are not alone.” Mrs. Adedokun, overwhelmed with joy, said, “I never expected this visit or the gifts. It means so much to us, and we appreciate the First Lady’s compassion.”

During both visits, Hon. Mrs. Adeleke Adebimpe emphasized the importance of supporting families and prioritizing healthcare in the community. She remarked, “The birth of a child symbolizes hope and renewal.

As a government, we are committed to ensuring that every mother and child in Ibarapa Central has access to the care and support they deserve. Together, we will continue to work towards a brighter and healthier future.”

The visits brought immense joy to the families and reinforced the First Lady’s dedication to the welfare of the residents of Ibarapa Central Local Government. Her compassionate leadership continues to inspire the community, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.
