Giggles Properties Limited, a leading real estate development firm with a strong track record in infrastructure and urban renewal projects, has announced its partnership with the Oyo State Government and the Ibadan South-West Local Government Authority to redevelop parts of the Aleshinloye Market, Ibadan.

The company made this known in a statement issued on Monday, where it expressed gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for creating an enabling environment that continues to attract large-scale private investments into Oyo State’s economy.

According to the statement, the Aleshinloye Market redevelopment project is part of a broader economic vision aligned with the Governor Makinde-led administration’s infrastructure-driven development agenda. The project, currently underway, is aimed at transforming the market into a modern commercial hub with upgraded amenities and facilities that meet global standards.

As part of its social responsibility and inclusive redevelopment approach, Giggles Properties Limited has offered a “Right of First Refusal” to former shop owners affected by the recent fire outbreak in the market, allowing them to reclaim spaces before the units are made available to new buyers.

The company disclosed that the new Aleshinloye market structure will feature:

    Well-paved roads and drainage systems

    Fire hydrant systems

    Solar-powered streetlights and external lighting

    Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) for security

“These provisions will ensure that traders operate in a safe, modern, and efficient environment while getting full value for their investment,” the statement added.

Giggles Properties also highlighted its significant contribution to the local economy through job creation and material sourcing. “We procure all our materials locally and have created both temporary and permanent jobs for professionals and artisans, especially within Ibadan land,” the statement read.

With ongoing and completed projects in both Ibadan and Lagos, the company reaffirmed its commitment to high-quality, sustainable developments that reduce infrastructure deficits while boosting local economies.

Members of the public and interested traders can reach Giggles Properties Limited through its office at Suite C51, Cocoa Mall, Cocoa House Compound, Dugbe CBD, Ibadan, or via telephone at +234 807 055 5731. More information is also available on their website: www.gigglesproperties.com.
