A group, Ibadan United for Development has commended His Eminence, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States for the warm reception accorded to the Babaloja General of Oyo State and Iyaloja General of Oyo State, Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje and their team paid a courtesy call on the Aare.
According to the spokesperson of the group, Akeem T. Adigun, the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland Edo and Delta States has continued to show that he is a detribalized leader who remains a father to all.
“His door his open to all, he is consistent and stay true to his words.”
The team was led by Babaloja General of Oyo State, Alhaji YK Abass and was accompanied by Alhja Saratu Aduke Konibaje (Iyaloja General of Oyo State) among others.
According to the team, the purpose of the visit was to congratulate His Eminence, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola on the new title of Aare of Ibadanland.
The team used the visit to present an award to the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland Edo and Delta States.
In his words, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola while appreciating the team stated that he remains a father to all irrespective of religious, political or ethnic divide.
It was further gathered that no issue of endorsement or market leadership was discussed.
