Oyo state is blessed with combination of young, vibrant professional Governor and experienced, skillful and amiable deputy. This superlative combination gave us the odacity of hope as proud citizens of oyo state that the state is set on a journey of pace setting achievements.
We felt comfortable and especially find hope in the experience of the carefully chosen Deputy Governor in infrastructure provisions already in record, that oyo is about taking massive and giant leaps in infrastructural development.
The Oyo state indigene generally has hoped and correctly with two engineers (private and public sectors) at helms of affairs, the pace setting state will be speedily retooled, structurally re-engineered and aesthetically face-lifted in all facets of life, but alas, the enemies will not allow GSM after one year. Haba! Omo araye buru
The enemies came with spanner of distractions early enough and prevented GSM from seeing anymore, the wealth of experience of his Deputy, a treasure personified. The enemies not wanting GSM to give us infrastructure and boosting his profile, constituted themselves into mud, slowing down the journey to speedy development of the former capital of Western Region.
The enemies sow seed of discord between GSM and his Deputy because they knew Engr RAUF Olaniyan is the cord to strike to reduce the altitude. They deliberately sold evil to GSM so the treasure in his Deputy will be left untapped and the state will suffer as the enemies will smile to the bank. They have no known business except as agency of division, merchant of false tales, forces of distraction and foot soldiers of distraction. “Kose, kose, kojoluree se”) like ijesa will say. ( He will not do, neither will he allow next person do)
The detractors put up the garb of envy and threw distraction the way of GSM and make him lost valuable advice , input and deep thoughts of his vastly experienced deputy. These people kept the young Governor readily distracted for one year and kept him more on media than physical in term of achievements making oyo state laughing stock among comity of states. The reason is not far from the fact that, the deputy knew them in and out from his background as a retired civil servant in the state. They were people who had hitherto constituted themselves as land lord of the state who felt threatened with information with the courageous Deputy. Olohun a da fun yin !
The axis of evil in the toga of religion painted evil vision for the well loved Governor so that he will find no good in his Deputy and it becomes increasingly difficult to move together in the journey to greater Oyo State. They wanted the Governor to find it difficult to achieve monumentally and make history. They saw nothing but false and blur vision only the devil and devilish projects.
The scripture was very vivid about their description in Jeremiah 14 verse 14 thus
” And the Lord said to me , the prophets prophesy lies in my name. I have not sent them , commanded them,nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, worthless thing and the deceit of their heart”. Awon ni won poko ibanuje fun gomina !
They only want to brew crisis and play Judas Iscariot just to get the 30 pieces of silver ( Matt 26:15)from selling GSM, the Deputy and the supposed speedy development of our dear state. Ika niyin !
The enemies among the contractors knew the deputy has handled them before and can still handle them better, will not allow peace to reign in the state to decieve the innocent Governor coming from private sector so as to milk the state dry in the name of contracts. They hope to play on the intelligence of the Governor by virtue of his coming from private sector to inflate, unduly extend and overprice contracts. They will always create rift between GSM and his Deputy who is aware of correct price of contracts of roads in kilometres and mileage including the cost of constructing drainages even when sleeping. E e si beru olohun !
The enemies surely wanted to dwarf the achievements of GSM and they make sure he was not at peace with his lieutenant who knows his onion. They have created the gully to deny oyo state the value and treasure dwelling in the brilliant and highly experienced Deputy Governor, Engr RAUF Olaniyan. With a Deputy who is professional civil/ structure engineer with overwhelming experience, by the end of one year nobody in oyo state history would have achieved like GSM. Kokoro ko je kagbadun obi togbo !
Unfortunately, the enemies of humanity, development and oyo state make sure that does not happen and one year is just here . The Lord of mercy will settle this rift and shame the enemies within and without. Oorun to ku loke o to aso gbe
If not for the enemies who profit from discord as in ARIJENI MADARU, by now, many schools should have been fenced within reasonable price but the enemies will rather keep the deputy away to build up the price and keep circulating same contracts. By now our drainages should have been taken care of with little cost but the enemies will not allowed the experience of the Deputy to work for they want to turn infrastructure to dining table and provisions of facilities to cash cow. They felt so intimidated with the experience of the deputy and wanted him out of the picture with all sense of desperation. Eni to bere, ti ndesa okete, oba mi oke ndedi ti e naa !
GSM has a very robust future and the enemies saw a wing in his Deputy, Engr RAUF Olaniyan so they needed to stop his altitude. This they have started by ensuring the rift between him and his well loved Deputy. They will rather make sure he has motion without movement and make him have headlines without datelines. Aye ma nika oo !
The enemies wanted GSM have many enemies and make him fighting many battles including religious one at thesame time because they knew a conflict with the deputy will be interpreted as a clash with his religion, his people, his region, his friends , his admirers, his toasts, his families, his connects his kinsmen and his lovers. Haba she bi eyin naa bimo !
I will conclude this piece with a story of farmer, by name Alaatan in thesame Alawiye byJ F Odunjo, the Governor and his deputy read( I was privileged part of that generation too)
Alaatan caught a fleshy bird and was already dreaming of fresh pounded yam with the flesh of the bird. Hardly has the farmer concluded his dream the bird started singing, Alaatan o ti see kikida egugun yi ! ( Alaatan, what a hell will you do with this bony bird)
The bird kept singing this lyrics on till Alaatan felt he actually might not need the bony bird for his dream pounded yam. He let go the bird and immediately after its release the bird change the song, Alaatan so eran jobojobo nu! ( Alaatan just lost fleshy bird). The birds kept singing this song until the farmer felt stupid and filled with regret.
Dear GSM, you are the farmer, your Deputy is the bird, the enemies are the singers by ring side.
Keep your deputy, make history and soar higher together.
