Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has berated the Senate President over claim that the 36 Governors got the sum of N30 billion each.
Godswill Akpabio had on Tuesday during plenary announced that all the 36 Governors in Nigeria got N30 billion each to address food scarcity and hardship.
He added that the Federal Government disbursed the money through Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
Reacting to the Senate President’s claim on Thursday, Oyo State Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde debunked the claim saying no State was given N30 billion to cushion effects of food scarcity and hardships.
He urged the federal government not to politicize the current hardship Nigerians are battling with.
