Hardship Protest: Hon Sanda Takes Peaceful Protest Awareness to Communities, Markets, Traditional Council, Others

 

As the nation prepares for the protest against economic hardship on August 1, The Executive Chairman of Egbeda local government, Hon Sanda Sikiru Oyedele appeals to indigenes of Egbeda local government not to participate in August 1 nationwide protest.

The chairman emphasized the need for peaceful and constructive demonstration for positive change, rather than creating opportunities for chaos and destruction as we already know challenging situation face by ordinary Nigerian.

According to security agents, the peaceful protest is in section 40 of the Nigeria constitution but must not lead to violence, also appealed to parents to warn their family not to join the national protest.

Amongst the area visited were include, Egbeda market, Iyana-Ajia, Toll-Gate, Oluwo, Alakia, Adegbayi, Iyana-Agbala, Gbagi market, Oremeji-Idi Osan and Iwo-Road.

Hon Sanda equally paid a courtesy call to Egbeda Local Government traditional council to warn their communities against destructive tendencies during protest.
