The word ” Jagunmolu ” indicates a valiant heart,a great warrior who faces and conquers great challenges,battles or adversity.
Indeed His Excellency can rightly be said to have come,seen/faced and conquered numerous and very significant battles which many had thought,nay prophesied would conquer and swallow him up but like the famed Conquistadors -Spanish conquerors of Mexico & Peru in the 16th century- His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde the newly minted Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom and by extension,his better half;our uniquely dynamic First Lady and Grand Officer Commanding of all Oyo State women; Her Excellency Engr Tamunominini Makinde the Yeye Jagunmolu of Ondo kingdom can rightly be said to have Come,faced and conquered in great battles/ adversity!
This amazing achievenent is just another step on His Excellency ‘s journey to his Zenith
His Excellency’s ability to relentlessly search for and come up with creative and innovative solutions to the myriads of problems faced by our state is a continued source of inspiration for those of us who are his acolytes.These attributes are also the key to his success so far and many more still yet to come
His “Can do” spirit,tenacity,sincerity of purpose and genuine love for our people shines through all his actions/inactions.

I celebrate Kabiyesi not only for his birthday but for having the divine wisdom , presence of mind and an attribute referred to by the Yoruba as ” Oju Inu” loosely translated to mean Spiritual Insight to have been able to identify the most fitting candidate for such a strategic and deeply meaningful chieftaincy title.May the Almighty grant Kabiyesi many more years of impactful governance over his subjects.
