    Hon Abiodun Babalola Sympathizes With Victims Ibadan Explosion, Applauds Gov Makinde’s Effort

    The lawmKer representing Ibadan Northeast Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Abiodun Babalola has sent his condolences to the families of victims who died following the explosions that occurred at Bodija, Ibadan on Tuesday.

    In a statement personally signed by the astute lawmaker which was made available to Goalpoacher News on Wednesday, commiserated with the government of Oyo State and victims of the sad incident.


    He lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for taking prompt action by making efforts that restored normalcy to affected areas.

    Hon Babalola who is the Chairman, House Committee on Transportation, described as unfortunate the incident where houses, shops, government offices and businesses were destroyed from the explosion.

    The former caretaker Chairman of Ibadan East LCDA used the opportunity to caution the miners against storing explosive devices at residential areas adding that it was a time bomb waiting to explode.

    “On behalf of myself and family, I sympathize with the families of those who have lost their loved ones in the unfortunate incident.

    “Almighty Allah grants them eternal rest and I pray for quick recovery for those receiving at various health facilities.”
