    Hon. Adeleke Gives Financial Support to Widows, Aged in Ibarapa Central

    In a heartfelt demonstration of compassionate leadership and fulfillment of his campaign promise, the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Adeleke Ayodele Olusola has empowered over 500 widows and elderly residents with direct cash gifts.

    The impactful event, which took place at the Council Secretariat today 14th July 2025, brought together beneficiaries from various communities who received financial support to ease their burdens and uplift their wellbeing.


    In his message made available by his personal assistant Azeez Sodiq Adesina while addressing the gathering, Hon. Adeleke reaffirmed that his administration remains committed to prioritizing the welfare of the most vulnerable, especially widows and the aged who have given so much to society but often receive so little in return.

    “This cash support is not just a gift, it is a message of hope and an assurance that you are not forgotten,” the Chairman said. “I pledged during my campaign to stand by our mothers and fathers in their old age and today’s empowerment is a clear step in that direction.”

    Hon. Adeleke also seized the moment to express profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde for providing an enabling environment that makes people-oriented governance possible at the grassroots. He commended the Governor’s tireless efforts in championing impactful policies that continue to prioritize the welfare of ordinary citizens across the state.

    The widows and elderly who benefited could not hide their gratitude, showering prayers and words of appreciation on the Chairman for remembering them in these challenging times. Community leaders and well-wishers present also praised Hon. Adeleke for his inclusive and people-first approach to governance.

    In separate remarks, Chief Mrs. Bose Obey warmly commended Hon. Olusola Adeleke for sustaining the remarkable legacy of Hon. Ademola Obafemi Ojo whose impactful contributions continue to shape the growth and progress of the community.

    Likewise, Alhaji Rasheed Okunlola called on all residents to stand firmly behind Hon. Adeleke and to give him their full support as he relentlessly pursues meaningful infrastructure projects across Ibarapa Central. He also offered heartfelt prayers for the Chairman asking for divine strength and guidance as he continues to serve the people diligently.

    The Executive Chairman concluded by assuring the good people of Ibarapa Central that more empowerment and welfare initiatives are in the pipeline, as his administration remains committed to building a community where no one is left behind.

Sola Fakorede,Elder Olaoye, Hon Rasheed Okunlola, Hon Rufai saminu, Elder Adetona, Hon Rufai Azeez,Hon Ademola Adekunle,Mrs Sidikatu( Iyaloja) as well as all Political functionary and ward chairmen.
