Following the official swearing-in of Hon. Olusola Adeleke as the Executive chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government by the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, Notable dignitaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), religious leaders, state functionaries and traditional rulers turned out in large numbers to grace the reception organized by Hon Olusola in Ibarapa Central Local Government.
The welcome party held at council secretariat while the reception followed at Hon Olusola residences on Friday 24th,2024, speaking through his media team and made the news available for newsmen.
Prominent attendees included the Commissioner for Trade, Investment, Industry and Cooperative, Hon. Ademola ojo; Elder Eyinade Elejire( advisory council), party faithfully, demonstrating the party’s solidarity and commitment to the development of Ibarapa Central.
In his address, Hon. Adeleke expressed deep gratitude for the support during the election and emphasized his commitment to serving the people. “Today is not just a celebration of my inauguration but a celebration of our shared vision for a better future of Ibarapa Central,” he stated. “I am committed to working tirelessly for the development of Ibarapa Central and ensuring that every voice is heard and represented.”
Constituents who attended the event expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to engage directly with their new chairman. Many voiced optimism about the future, citing Hon. Adeleke’s approachable nature and history of community service as positive indicators for his tenure.
The event was characterized by drumming, dancing and melodious songs performed by Tobi Bright with his juju band, alongside popular rising stars DJ Marcus and DJ Saint where the Commissioner for Trade, and other important guests joined Hon Olusola Adeleke on the stage to dance, celebrating the beginning of his tenure, creating an atmosphere of conviviality and community spirit.
