Over 150 less privileged persons received cash assistance from the lawmaker representing Ibadan South
Constituency 1 in the Oyo state House of Assembly, on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) Honourable Modiu Opeyemi Akande Alabamusa as part of programmes to give back to the electorates.
The beneficiaries drawn from the various wards in the council area received cash support each at the event also witnessed the commissioning of constituency office at Aleshinloye compound, Isale ijebu ward 2, Ibadan South East Local Government.
Leaders and other members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the council area were not left out of the epoch making event.
In his address, Honourable Opeyemi Akande expressed gratitude to the state Governor ‘Seyi Makinde for his support at ensuring that the dividends of democracy reached all nooks and corners of the state.
Hon Akande while soliciting the continued support of the people of the constituency assured them of quality representation in the state House of Assembly adding that their welfare shall always be his utmost priority
He used the occasion to highlight other achievements in office which include ; drilling of two motorized Borehole projects in ward 2 and ward 6, construction of two bridges in ward 4, digging of deep well in ward1, Solar street lights across ward 1 to ward 6 among others.
Party leaders in attendance at the program included, Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who was ably represented by Alhaji Maroof Hammed (Yoboro), Alhaji wasiu Adeleke Secretary Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party who was ably represented by state Organizing Secretary, Pastor Badmus Eniola
Engineer Sulaimon Adeshina (world best) party chairman Ibadan south East local govt and Councillors representing ward1,4,5,and 6.
Also in attendance are all the party leaders in Ibadan south East local govt ,
local government party executives,
wards women leader and
all the wards youth leaders.
The dignitaries commended the lawmaker for fulfilling his electoral promises to the people who gave him their mandate in the 2023 general elections and further pledged their support for him in future.
