As part of the fulfillment of his campaign promises to ensure a safe and conducive healthy environment for indigenes and Residents of Akinyele Local Government, The Executive Chairman, Hon Akinwole Akinleye Through the Office of the Chairperson, Mrs Funmilola Akinleye hosted a free Health Outreach and Empowerment program in Collaboration With Prof Olufolake Adeagbo today at the local Government secretariat, Moniya, Ibadan.
This is one of the several measures put in place by the Administration of Hon Akinwole Akinleye to ensure a better and More Sustainable Akinyele Local Government.
The Executive Chairman, Hon Akinwole Akinleye In a statement made available to the public through his Media Aide, Ogundipe Miracle, Assured the People of his unwavering commitment to replicate the excellent works of The Executive Governor of Oyo State.
“In my Inaugural Speech, I made it known to everyone that Akinyele Local Government is open for business. I stated clearly that we will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to maintain a sustainable and prosperous environment for all. This is one of the numerous steps and we won’t stop facilitating other empowerment initiatives that will be beneficial to everyone”.
“ I have always reiterated the fact that we are here to replicate the wonderful works of our principal, The Executive Governor Of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde here in our Local Government. We will not relent In ensuring that Akinyele Local Government returns to the peak where it belong”.
“This is one of the many giant steps we have taken since we assumed office towards redirecting our dear Local Government to the peak, Let’s continually work hand in hand to achieve success. I can assure you that greater things are coming, Very soon we will hold another empowerment and it will definitely be massive again”.
The Free Health Outreach which cut across various health Checks such as Blood Sugar, Eye test amongst others, distribution of various health benefits such as drugs, eye glasses and other medical needs were carried out for hundreds of people across the local Government. The Empowerment program which consists of cash and food products were also distributed to beneficiaries across the Local Government was also aimed at cushioning the hardship effects and also to make life easier for everyone.
Beneficiaries of the program expressed delight at the rare and timely event and prayed extensively for the Success of the Executive Chairman and expressed confidence in his ability to take Akinyele Local Government to the peak where it belongs.
