The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, has expressed his full support for Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja as the consensus candidate for the position of National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Hon. Alawode described Amb. Arapaja as a tested and trusted leader whose dedication to party unity and development has continued to earn him respect across the country.
He noted that the choice of Arapaja as consensus candidate reflects the confidence reposed in him by party stakeholders, and it is a step in the right direction for the continued growth and strength of the PDP at the national level.
While congratulating him in advance, Hon. Alawode prayed that Amb. Arapaja’s emergence would bring greater unity, renewed vision, and purposeful leadership to the PDP.
The council boss pledged his unwavering support and encouraged all party faithful to rally behind the consensus choice in the interest of the party’s progress.
