    Hon Alawode Commiserates With Makinde on Demise of Brother

    Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government has extended his condolence to the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on the death of his brother which occured at the early hour of today, Friday, 24th January, 2025.

    The death of Engr. Sunday Makinde was disclosed by the younger brother of the deceased, the Mogaji of Ile Aigbofa, Barrister Olumuyiwa Makinde, who revealed that the death occurred around 3am this morning at the deceased residence.

    Hon. Alawode described the deceased as an embodiment of virtues, humility and honesty and will surely be missed by all.

    “It is with a heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolence to the Governor of Oyo State, the children of the deceased and the entire Makinde’s family, over the loss of their cherished father and brother, which is a pain that words cannot fully expressed”. Hon. Alawode stated.

    The council boss encouraged the Governor and the entire family of Makinde to find solace in the love and memories shared with Late Sunday Makinde.

    Committing the grieving family, friends, and relatives to the comfort of the eternal God, who is the source of life and holds the future of all creation in his hands, Hon. Alawode prayed that God will repose the soul of the departed and grant the Makinde’s family, all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
