Oyo Assembly member, representing Ibadan North Constituency 1, Hon. Olufunke Comforter, has congratulated Muslims in her constituency, Oyo State, and Nigeria as they celebrate Eid-il-Fitr.
Hon. Comforter extended her warm wishes for joy and prosperity.
As a woman who cherishes religious diversity, she drew a quote from the Hadith, “The best among you are those who have the best manners and character.” She emphasized the values of compassion and solidarity, urging residents to come together in harmony and goodwill.
Hon. Comforter remarked, “May this Eid be a time of joyous celebration and a reaffirmation of our commitment to building a prosperous and inclusive society.”
“As we gather to celebrate Eid with our families and friends, let us also remember the teachings of Islam and strive to be better individuals,” she added.
