    Hon Comforter Hails Makinde at 58, Says He’s Quintessential Leader

    The lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 1, Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi Olajide, has described the leadership and service of the Oyo State Governor as quintessential and deeply committed to the welfare of the people of Oyo State.

    Hon. Comforter made this statement while extending her congratulatory wishes to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, on the occasion of his birthday, commending him for his visionary leadership and dedication to the development of the state.

    In her congratulatory message made available to the press, on Thursday ,Hon. Comforter praised Governor Makinde for his impactful policies and achievements, particularly in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic development, which have positively transformed the lives of the people of Oyo State.

    The lawmaker further commended Governor Makinde’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance, noting that his leadership continues to inspire public confidence and foster social cohesion across the state.

    Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi Olajide also prayed for good health, long life, wisdom, and renewed strength for Governor Makinde, while expressing confidence that his leadership would continue to steer Oyo State toward greater progress and prosperity.

    Similarly, the lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 1, Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi Olajide, has congratulated Christians across Oyo State and Nigeria as they commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, describing Christmas as a reflection of God’s love, humility, and sacrifice for humanity through Jesus.

    Hon. Comforter made the statement available to the press during her Christmas goodwill message on Thursday, the eve of Christmas.

    She stated that the season provides an opportunity for believers to reflect deeply on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, which emphasize love, peace, selflessness, and service to mankind.

    She further noted that the humility displayed through the birth of Jesus and His sacrificial life remain timeless lessons, guiding individuals, communities, and leaders in fostering unity, tolerance, and mutual respect in society.

    According to Hon. Comforter, the values associated with Christmas are critical for national growth and peaceful coexistence, especially at a time when collective responsibility and moral consciousness are required for societal development.

    She urged Christians to use the festive period to pray for peace, stability, and progress in Nigeria, while extending kindness to the less privileged. She also wished all Christians a joyous Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year.
