A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, in Oyo State, Hon Hamed Adewale Ishola has lauded Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, His Eminence Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola and his wife, Alhaja Makanjuola Akinola on their installation as the Aare and Yeye Aare of Ibadanland.
His Imperial Majesty, Oba Lekan Balogun will on Monday 4th March, 2024 officially install De-Damak and his wife as Aare of the ancient city of Ibadan.
Adewale Ishola, noted that the chieftaincy title is not only well-deserved also a pride and honour for the good people of Ibadanland.
According to the former Campaign DG of Governor Seyi Makinde’s re-election in Egbeda local government, he said the recognition given to the His Eminence Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola is a deep reflection of his sterling contributions to the development of Ibadanland and Oyo State in general.
“I congratulate our leader, His Eminence Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola and his beautiful wife on their conferment of a chieftaincy title by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun.”
