The chairmanship candidate of peoples democratic party in Lagelu local government area, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen has said that his hope is pretty alive again for Lagelu— thanking the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on what he termed “a three solid consideration for Lagelu” in new appointment list.
In a fresh list of appointment released late Wednesday, the Oyo government had considered Lagelu for three different roles at state level.
In his reaction on Thursday morning, the chairmanship candidate of peoples democratic party in Lagelu, Mr. Mudashiru Kamorudeen hailed the Oyo State Governor, maintaining that the hope is pretty alive again for the local government area.
His statement reads;
“Last night, our hope for Lagelu came pretty alive again– with the announcement of two of our good brothers, and a sister in the new appointment list of the state government”.
“In the newly rolled out appointment, we hold this truth to be self evident, that as a people, we got it big in Engr. Seyi Makinde’s administration. We got one as Special Adviser on Education Intervention, another as Senior Special Assistant on Local Government and Chieftaincy matters, and another as Director General, Oyo Signage and Advertisment Agency. I say today, that in no other state administration and dynasty is this Lagelu story even possible”.
“Our deepest gratitude goes to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde for the privilege of having three of our own in the newly unveiled appointment by the state government”.
He congratulated the three new appointees, avering that the hope of Lagelu people is in them, to make the local government proud in their newly appointed role at state level.
“It’s a delight for me to congratulate our own two good brothers; Hon. Adetokunbo Adeaga, Hon. Suraj Tiami, and of course too, our own bright sister, Hon. Mrs. Ramota Agberemi- all on their appointments by the Oyo state government. Our hope is in these three great minds, to make us all proud in their newly appointed role”, Kamoru said.
