Hon Odidiomo Hails Makinde Over Landmark Infrastructure Achievement
The lawmaker representing Ibadan North West/South West Federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Dhikirulahi Adedeji Stanley Olajide, has expressed commendation for the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde, following the successful completion of the dualized 8.2-kilometer Agodi Gate-Old Ife Road-Alakia-Adegbayi Junction Road, including the Onipepeye Underpass Bridge.
In a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Friday, the lawmaker who is popularly known as Odidiomo, lauded Governor Makinde for his commitment to the infrastructural development of Oyo State.
“The epoch-making event that thrust our dear State into the limelight for another infrastructural milestone yesterday will elevate the good people of Oyo State, ensuring seamless movement for day-to-day business activities.”
The commissioning of the 8.2-kilometer Agodi Gate-Old Ife Road-Alakia-Adegbayi Junction Road, including the Onipepeye Underpass Bridge, reflects your administration’s dedication to providing the best governance for our people.
“Your government’s extensive road projects, connecting communities and linking towns to the city, have made life easier for our citizens. I dare to say you’re the God-sent leader for our dear State.
“Your administration has brought hope back to the common man on the streets, offering relief and strength to the weak.
“What more could we ask for? As you continue to elevate our dear State to the pinnacle of success, I pray that Allah continues to give you the grace to steer the ship of this State even more effectively.”
Hon. Odidiomo, who also chairs the House Committee on Information, seized the opportunity to call on all Oyo State citizens to rally around the governor.
“He emphasized that it’s not the time for politics; what the governor needs now is our utmost support, devoid of party politics.
“Together, we can collectively propel our dear State to greater heights, he added.
