Hon Olufade Receives Ibadan North LG Batch B Stream 1 NYSC Corps Members from Camp

 

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, welcomed the Batch B Stream 1 NYSC corps members to Ibadan North Local Government on Wednesday.

The corps members, who recently completed their three-week compulsory camping at the Oyo State NYSC camp in Iseyin, arrived at the council secretariat around 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

In his welcome speech, Hon. Olufade congratulated the corps members on the successful completion of their orientation camp and welcomed them to Ibadan North, which he proudly described as the largest and leading local government in Oyo State.

Acknowledging their fatigue, he assured them that he would keep his speech brief so they could rest.

Hon. Olufade promised the corps members adequate welfare and encouraged them to reach out to him with any challenges they might face during their service year.

“I am a youth like you,” he said, “and you should feel free to share any concerns with me.”

He referred to them as the leaders of today and tomorrow and assured them that they would not regret their posting to Ibadan North Local Government.

Joining Hon. Olufade in receiving the corps members were several key officials, including Mrs. Bola Obarinde, the Ibadan North LG NYSC Local Government Inspector (LGI); Hamdy Mustapha, Chief of Staff to the Chairman; Alhaji Akeem Olatunji, Head of Local Government Administration; Alhaja Najimdeen Qudrat, Ibadan North Local Government Director of Education and Social Services; Mrs. Babarimisa Y.T, Director of Finance; Mrs. Nngwee Taiwo Olaitan, Director of Education and Social Services, Irepodun LCDA; Mrs. Lala Olufunke, Head of Information; and Aderibigbe Yisahu Ajibola, Head of Media to the Chairman; Ayodamope Afolabi, a member of the media team.

The warm reception set a positive tone for the corps members’ service year in Ibadan North Local Government.
