Hon. Olukunle Mathew Oluwafemi, a former councilor in the Akinyele Local Government Area, Oyo State, has congratulated Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, praising his political journey and contributions to grassroots governance.
In a statement made available to journalists on Thursday, Hon. Olukunle described Adekanmbi as a committed and experienced grassroots politician whose service as a former councilor in Akinyele Local Government continues to stand out.
He noted that Adekanmbi’s background in local government administration has prepared him for broader responsibilities, especially in contributing to the political development of Oyo State.
The statement also commended Governor Seyi Makinde, describing him as a leader who has demonstrated sound judgment in identifying and supporting capable successors within the state’s political structure.
“Governor Seyi Makinde has shown exceptional wisdom in leadership selection and succession planning,” Hon. Olukunle said, noting that such decisions help strengthen democratic structures.
According to Hon. Olukunle, Governor Makinde’s leadership has created an enabling environment for emerging politicians to grow, serve, and build strong connections with the grassroots.
He further emphasized that the recognition of Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi reflects confidence in his leadership qualities and his continued relevance in the political landscape of the state.
