Executive Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, Hon Oluokun Peter Olusola, the vice chairman, Hon Wasiu Mustapha and other members of his cabinet attended PDP General meeting on Monday amidst excitement from party loyalist.
The party chairman, Hon Sakiru Ojo, in his speech congratulated Hon Oluokun for his reinstatement. He viewed the suspension as a great experience to combat the future obstacles.
He further appreciated the chairman for his generosity to the party especially during the just concluded senatorial meeting.
Hon Oluokun while addressing party faithful, appreciated Governor Makinde’s support, hails his commitment to the welfare of Oyo state workers by approving ₦80,000 as minimum wage.
He used the occasion to extol Sen (Dr) Monsurat Olajumoke Aduke Sunmonu for her unrelenting efforts and supports in moving Oyo Federal Constituency forward.
He said, ” Living in a state of gratitude is the gateway to grace” and i promised to always thank my benefactors.
“To the party members, I appreciate your unwavering supports for this administration especially during the difficult time.”
The chairman reiterated his uncompromised commitment to the development of Oyo East Local Government and to always work for the interest of the good people of Oyo East Local Government.
The youth Leader and the women leader of the party in their separate remarks appreciated the chairman’s generosity and kind heartedness. They prayed for the hitch free tenure of office for the chairman.
The chairman’s entourage include Hon Yussuf Ajala (leader of the House), Hon Adekola Nurudeen (Secretary to the Chairman), Hon Musa Kofoworola (Chief of staff), Hon Mumin Eburuuke (assistant Secretary), all Councillors, Supervisor, Special Assistants and personal assistants.
