At the instance of Oyo East Chairman, Hon Oluokun Peter Olusola, Secretary to the chairman, Hon Adekola Nurudeen, the leader of the House, Hon Ajala Yusuf and the chief of staff Hon Kofoworola Muss in the company of all Councillors, Supervisory Councillors and Special Assistants has undertook a site inspection tour of ongoing renovation of roofing and reconstruction of some dilapidated facilities at Akesan Market to assess the level of progress achieved by the Consultant.
The inspection which focused on key renovation of roofing and reconstruction of dilapidated facilities at Akesan Market is aimed at improving infrastructure in Oyo East Local Government.
The chairman media reports that the Chairman’s delegation visit covered major areas including renovations, resolving of electricity issues and some other amenities required at the market
Recall that the market was reconstructed few years ago after the unfortunate inferno incident
While inspecting the project, Hon Adekola Nurudeen, the Secretary to the chairman of Oyo East Local Government pointed out that the chairman was determined to ensure the Completion of the renovation within the stipulated time
