Hon Olusola Adeleke Charges Supervisory Councillors, Special Assistants on Community Development

Today, 19th July 2024 , amidst jubilation and excitement a swearing-in ceremony was held at the Ibarapa Central Local Government secretariat, where Hon Olusola Adeleke, the Executive Chairman administered the oath of office to newly appointed Supervisory Councillors and Special Assistant (SAS).

In his address during the ceremony, Hon Adeleke charged the new appointees by emphasizing the critical roles expected of them as ambassadors for the community.

He urged them to prioritize community engagement and interaction with residents, stressing the importance of understanding their needs and effectively addressing them.

“As representatives of our dear community, you are entrusted with the responsibility of being the bridge between the local government and our residents,” stated Hon. Olusola Adeleke.

“It is imperative that we move closer to the people, listen to their concerns, and proactively work towards fulfilling their expectations.

He highlighted transparency, accountability, and dedication as essential values in public service and called for collaborative efforts among all officials to ensure government initiatives meet the community’s aspirations.

Reacting on behalf of the appointtees, Hon. Olaoniye, expressed gratitude to party leaders and the Executive Governor of Oyo State for their support and guidance. He acknowledged their role in advancing the collective goals of the local government.

Hon. Olusola Adeleke expressed confidence in the capabilities of the newly appointed Supervisory Councillors and SAS to make a positive impact in Ibarapa Central. He encouraged them to uphold integrity and commitment as they embark on their new roles.
