In a move to bolster community safety and security, Hon. Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy, the Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso South Local Government, has donated a vehicle to the local vigilante group.
This latest contribution is part of the chairman’s ongoing efforts to enhance the area’s security infrastructure.
“As the Chairman of Ogbomoso South, I am committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community,” said Hon. Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy, popularly known as OOT.
“This vehicle donation to our vigilante group is another step in strengthening our security measures and creating an environment that is conducive for growth and development.”
The vehicle donation follows previous contributions of motorcycles and other security gadgets made by the local government chairman.
These efforts, he said, is aimed at equipping the vigilante group with the necessary resources to effectively patrol the area and deter criminal activities.
“Our unwavering stance against crime and insecurity is reflected in these initiatives,” OOT added. “We are determined to create a secure and prosperous Ogbomoso South for all residents.”
