In a ceremonious event at the Council Secretariat, the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke, officially inaugurated the council’s legislative arm today Tuesday 28th of May,2024.
In a statement made available to newsmen by his Media team, Hon Olusola Adeleke expressed that today marks a significant milestone as I, together with my Vice Chairman, commenced our tenure by inaugurating the council parliament,” said Hon. Adeleke.
He further on his address, Hon. Adeleke charged the newly inaugurated legislative council to be good ambassadors to their community and to make themselves available for their constituents. “Your role is crucial in driving the progress and prosperity of our beloved local government. Be accessible to the people and serve with dedication and integrity,” he urged.
Hon. Adeleke also expressed his appreciation to the residents who came out in large numbers to celebrate this important event. “I am deeply grateful to everyone who trooped out to rejoice with us. Your support and presence today highlight the unity and strength of our party and community at large,” he said.
The inauguration marks the beginning of a new era for Ibarapa Central, with a focus on unity, development, and the well-being of its residents.
