In a significant step towards enhancing infrastructural development, the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke has successfully restored the local government bulldozer which had been abandoned in the Forest for nearly four years.

The heavy-duty machine, which is essential for road grading, land clearing and other community projects was left unattended in the forest where it was vandalized, destroyed and stripped of its valuable parts by Fulani people. Due to prolonged disuse, its components became rusted, outdated and non-functional, leaving it in a state of total disrepair. However, under the visionary leadership of Hon. Olusola Adeleke, the bulldozer has undergone a complete overhaul and is now fully operational.

Speaking on the development today March 19,2025 , Hon. Adeleke emphasized his administration commitment to reviving and utilizing government assets for the benefit of the people.

“Upon assuming office, we discovered that this vital equipment had been abandoned in the forest and rendered useless due to vandalism. Rather than allowing it to remain obsolete, we took decisive steps to restore it. Today, I am delighted to announce that the bulldozer has been fully rehabilitated and is ready to serve our people once again,” he stated.

The restoration of this machinery marks a significant milestone in the local government efforts to improve road networks, support agricultural land clearing and maintain the environment. The move is expected to enhance infrastructural projects, reduce reliance on external contractors and save costs for the local government—a testament to Hon. Adeleke proactive leadership and strategic resource management.

Residents and stakeholders have applauded the Chairman initiative, describing it as a bold and commendable step toward sustainable development in Ibarapa Central. They acknowledged that the revitalization of the bulldozer will greatly facilitate ongoing and future projects, ensuring the smooth execution of road construction and maintenance efforts.

This achievement further solidifies Hon. Olusola Adeleke steadfast dedication to grassroots development, infrastructural renewal and effective governance, reinforcing his reputation as a leader who prioritizes the well-being and progress of his people.
