The lawmaker representing Afijio State Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Oladeji Oparinde has commended for the successful recruitment of teachers for Primary and Secondary Schools in the state.
Speaking with journalists following the release of successful applicants for Oyo State Universal Basic Education and TESCOM, Hon Oparinde
declared that Makinde has continued to put in place measures that will sustain the position of Oyo as a leader and Pacesetter in reform in the Southwest region and Nigeria at large.
According to the astute lawmaker, “This just concluded recruitment exercise is part of the present administration’s strategy to close the teachers’ gap in primary and secondary schools in Oyo State .
“It is another testament to Governor Seyi Makinde’s unwavering commitment to fulfilling the promise of delivering quality and affordable education to the children of Oyo State.
“Our Governor has yet again demonstrated his leadership prowess by providing employment opportunities for thousands of our teeming youths.”
Hon Oladeji Oparinde who has been complementing the Governor’s efforts in his constituency noted that with the newly recruited teachers, Oyo’s economy will continue to expand adding that productivity will be enhanced.
