The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso South local government, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy popularly known as OOT on Monday inaugurated the legislative arm of the council.
The House elected Hon Tunji Stephen Alao as House leader while Hon Mudashiru Ibrahim was elected as deputy leader.
“Today marked a significant milestone as I, alongside my vice chairperson, officially commenced our tenure by inaugurating the council parliament in a ceremonious event at Lagbami Osekun Hall, Council Secretariat, Ogbomoso South.
“In their inaugural session, the council reaffirmed Hon. Tunji Stephen Alao as the Leader of the House and Hon. Mudashiru Ibrahim as Deputy Leader while Hon. Taiwo Titus has emerged as Majority Leader, and Hon. Bosun Tunji as Chief Whip.
“We pledge to work collaboratively and tirelessly to drive forward the progress and prosperity of our beloved local government.”
