The Federal Lawmaker representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DON), has commenced the implementation of solar-powered water projects across communities in the constituency as part of efforts to improve access to clean and sustainable water supply for residents.

Speaking on the development, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the lawmaker, Akinwale Bodija, disclosed to journalists that the ongoing projects are designed to enhance water accessibility and improve living conditions for the people across the constituency.



According to him, the first phase of the intervention will cover Wards 2, 4, 7, 8 and 10 respectively, with beneficiaries expected to enjoy reliable and clean water supply upon completion.



Bodija noted that the initiative reflects Hon. Oyekunle’s commitment to delivering impactful and people-oriented projects that directly address the needs of constituents.


He further stated that the water projects are in fulfillment of campaign promises made to residents of Ibadan North Federal Constituency and reaffirmed the lawmaker’s dedication to responsive representation and grassroots development.
The media aide also assured residents that additional developmental projects are currently underway and will be commissioned in due course as part of ongoing efforts to deepen infrastructural development across the federal constituency.
Residents and stakeholders have continued to commend the intervention, describing it as a timely initiative capable of improving public health, promoting community welfare, and supporting sustainable development.
