The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Chairman of Oyo State Local Government Chairmen, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele was among other dignitaries who attended this year’s Ramadan Lecture presented by the Babalola General, Alhaji Yekini Abass at Elewi odo, Ibadan.
The Annual event aimed at Fear of God (Iberu Olorun), emphasized the importance of the fear of God, especially during Ramadan, and explored how it can guide us toward spiritual growth, moral excellence, and a deeper connection with Allah.
In his goodwill lecture, the scholar Fodilat Sheikh Alhaji Ismail Hussein Adekunle Gbamolada, Fodilat Sheikh Alhaji Ismail Hussein Adekunle Gbamolada, emphasized the importance of God-consciousness and spiritual discipline, encouraged the muslim Ummah to refrain from sinful behavior.
The Ramadan Lecture which had in attendance dignitaries as former Military Governor, General Raji Rasaki; Oloye Bayo Oyero; Oloye Nureni Akanbi Ile Iba; Commissioner for Works, Prof. Daud Kehinde Sangodoyin; Mogaji Abass Oloko; and Executive Vice Chairman of Pacesetter Transport Services, Mogaji Ademola Oladosu, Double T, among others.
