    Hon Sanda Honours Outstanding Corps Members in Egbeda

    In recognition of selfless and unprecedented achievements to the development of Egbeda local government during their youth service year.

    The Executive Chairman of Egbeda local government, Hon Sanda Sikiru Oyedele has honoured four National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) members of 2024 Batch B Stream 2 for their outstanding and excellence performances at their place of primary assignment in Egbeda local government.

    The corps members awarded are Atoyebi Samuel Precious, Oyekale Abass Oladoye, Ogunmade Michael Ayodimeji and Salam Kashif Adeoye.

    The four corps members were presented awards by the chairman as they are doing their passing out parade next week as well as donation of cash gift to all the out going corps members in Egbeda local government.

    While delivering his keynote address, the chairman said,” I am using this opportunity to appreciate these outstanding corps members for their positive impacts on their host local government through various projects they embarked upon, which includes erection of signpost, and labelling of 34 offices within the local government, this is a clarion call to those coming behind that no good done for humanity’s sake will go unappreciated”

    While unveiling the signpost donated by the 2024 Batch B Stream 2 Corps members,the chairman stressed that, his administration will always look out for exemplary acts by the youths and reward such, and I believe this honour will prompt others to emulate these outstanding corps members.

    In her Goodwill message, The Head of Local Government Administration(HLGA) Alhaja Dr Mrs Monsurat Ayobami Alaga congratulated the outgoing corps members for a successful completion of their youth service year, urged them to continue to be patriotic to the country even as they exist the National Youth, they should always packaged themselves when they are in labour market, because you dress in the way you want to be addressed as your attitude is your altitude, and all the corps members are winners as they have given their possible best in the service to the state.

    While giving the vote of thanks, the Corpers Liaison Officer(CLO) who was one of the awardees appreciated the kind gesture of the chairman for award presentation and cash gift donation, promised to continue to serve humanity with whatever God endows them with, anywhere they find themselves in the future.

    Present at the programme were the director of education and social services, Mrs Bosede Ilugbaro, Director of Finance and Supplies, Alhaji Hammed Lateef, Director of works, Engr. Ayoade Clement, Director of Agric, Mr. Salawudeen, Director of Administration, Mrs Adekunle Modupeola, Deputy Director of Education, Mrs Falana Labake, NYSC officials and NYSC members.
