The Executive Chairman of Egbeda local government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru on Sunday commended Governor Seyi Makinde following the successful commissioning of the new South West Secretariat office of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in honour of late party chair, Hon Soji Adagunodo.
The event marked a significant milestone in the party’s efforts to enhance its operational capacity and strengthen its presence in the South West region of Nigeria.
Hon. Sikiru emphasized that the establishment of the new secretariat reflects Governor Makinde’s unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the PDP in the South West.
He noted that this initiative will not only provide physical space for party activities but also symbolizes a renewed focus on grassroots mobilization and community engagement.
Hon. Sanda reiterated Makinde’s call for unity and collaboration among stakeholders and party members to maximize the potential of the new secretariat urging them to leverage the facilities and resources available to foster spirit of teamwork and collective effort towards achieving the party’s goals.
The council boss further appreciated the support extended to the party and its members by the Governor, reinforcing the importance of aligning party strategies with effective governance.
Sanda expressed confidence that the new secretariat would enhance the party’s ability to contribute meaningfully to policy discussions and governance issues within the South West region.
