Hon. Olufade also highlighted the importance of starting early, sharing a personal anecdote about his own career.
“If you don’t start today, tomorrow might be too late. Let me imagine if I hadn’t started politics when I did, I wouldn’t be here today,” he said.
He concluded his speech with a message of unity and progress.
“I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, for deeming us worthy to represent the state in various positions, whether through elections or appointments.
We should also give a big round of applause and major kudos to the Chairman of the Oyo State Youth Development Agency, Adebowale Falana, for leading the digital charge and bringing together most of the youth in Oyo State.
The world has gone global, and as a Pacesetter State, we must lead the conversations that empower our young people to conquer the world through the digital space.
Your innovative spirit will pave the way for a technologically empowered future.
Please take all the lessons here very seriously, as they are a launchpad to an even brighter tomorrow.
To our dear youngsters and even those slightly older, the time is now.
If you don’t start today, tomorrow might be too late. Let me imagine if I hadn’t started politics when I did, I wouldn’t be here today.
Maybe it’s not too late; I might have changed my career to tech, but I will discuss it with the Chairman of youth development agency, Adebowale Falana to see if it’s still possible.
Before I leave, let me remind us that together we can shape a future where the power of digital transformation benefits everyone, driving us towards greater innovation, efficiency, and shared prosperity.
Thank you, and may God bless Ibadan North, the host LGA for this awesome conference, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole.”
