Hon Seyi Oladipo has congratulated the new Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akeem Abimbola Owoade on his appointment and presentation of staff of office and certificate by Governor Seyi Makinde.
In a statement made available on Tuesday, Hon Seyi stated that the emergence of Oba Owoade is a testament to the grace and benevolence of God in the life of the Alaafin of Oyo.
He lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for following due process in the selection and appointment of Oba Akeem Abimbola Owoade.
“‘I extend my warmest congratulations to our revered monarch on his ascension to the throne of his forefathers, the ancient and revered throne of Alaafin and paramount ruler of Oyo town.
“I have no doubt he will use his indepth experience for the development of Oyo town.
“I’m confident that his leadership will bring peace, unity, and progress to the people and the kingdom.
“I commend our amiable Governor, Seyi Makinde for the proactive steps taken to conclude the process which started almost two years ago.”
Hon Seyi Oladipo therefore enjoined all sons and daughters of Oyo to cooperate with the new monarch to actualize the growth and development we all desired.
