In a display of gratitude and admiration, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan Northwest local government, Hon Sheriff Segun Adeshina (SSA), has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his unwavering support for Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) and sports development in general.
Hon Sheriff Segun Adeshina acknowledged the governor’s efforts in reviving the fortunes of the 3SC, which had previously struggled to maintain a top flight status in the Nigerian football league.
He said: “Governor Makinde’s commitment to sports development and his personal involvement in ensuring the 3SC’s success is commendable”
Hon Adeshina remarked: “Not only has he provided the necessary funding and support for the team, but he has also created an atmosphere of positivity and ambition that has reinvigorated the players and the fans alike. It is truly inspiring to witness this level of dedication and passion.”
The politician went on to urge other stakeholders in Oyo State to follow the governor’s example and contribute to the growth and success of local sports clubs.
“We must all work together to build a stronger sporting culture in Oyo State, for the benefit of our youth and our communities.”
