On behalf of late Hon Olatoye Temitope Sugar’s Political Dynasty, I hereby welcome a political enigma, Hon. Shina Peller, a distinguished former member of the House of Representatives as he officially crossed party lines, leaving the Accord Party to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the most formidable political party in Oyo State.
A move that is poised to have far-reaching implications, given Peller’s stature as a political giant in the Oyo North Senatorial District of Oyo State.
Hon. Shina Peller’s decision to align himself with the PDP is a welcome development that is underlined by a shared vision for progressive governance and a commitment to the welfare of the people of Oyo State.
This strategic move also marks a key alliance with the state’s incumbent and widely acclaimed Governor, His Excellency Engr Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde.
Governor Seyi Makinde, the political maestro leading the PDP in Oyo State and Southwest in general is greatly applauded for facilitating Hon Peller’s decision to join forces as the importance of unity and collaboration in advancing the state’s development agenda cannot be overemphasized.
